RiskExec has recently been updated to include the following enhancements:
HMDA Peer Data
The 2020 HMDA Preliminary Peer Data has been updated as of June 4, 2021. We recommend that users re-run any analyses that have used the preliminary data as their results are subject to change. The final data is expected to be out in August.
Assessment Area/ REMA
Maps

Users are now able to select the color of their choice to represent each Assessment Areas when using the RiskExec Maps tool. A user is able to do this by clicking on “Edit Area” and then clicking “Area Color” to choose a custom color.

Assessment Tract Counts by County

RiskExec has added a new report called “Assessment Tract Counts by County.” This report shows the number of tracts in a county and the number of tracts found within the Assessment Area.

The "Selected in County %" column represents the "Selected Tracts" divided by the "Total Tracts" in each row and indicates how much of the county is included in the area.  The "Selected in AA%" column represents the "Selected Tracts" divided by the report total of "Selected Tracts."  It represents how much reach county covers the area.

Batch Geocoding
RiskExec has added the option to “Re-Geocode” a file in the Batch Geocoding module.
Asurity
This option can be used if the user wants to change the Geocoding to include/exclude zip-centroiding after the first time the Geocoding is run.
Dynamic Importer
The Dynamic Importer has been updated to support partial updates, allowing the user to update the values of multiple fields in existing records.

When selecting the new "Partial Update - Update Selected Fields for Existing Records" option, the user will be prompted to choose an identifier field, either the Application Number or Universal Loan Identifier, that will be used for matching the records to be updated. The user will then select the fields included in the upload and the corresponding RiskExec fields to be updated. Change Log entries will be generated for all records that are updated using this import option.

Please note that RiskExec has updated how we ask a user if they would like for RiskExec to geocode their file or calculate the rate spread with the following questions:

  • Are you importing your own geocodes? No or Yes
  • Are you importing your own rate spreads? No or Yes

Additionally, saved Dynamic Importer formats can now be used with new files that do not match the exact column specification and field order of the previous file. If any of the mapped columns in a saved import format are found in the newly uploaded file, RiskExec will use all the mappings that can be found, and drop the ones that can not be mapped. If one or more of the mapped columns were unusable in the upload file, RiskExec will notify the user. If the user approves the import will proceed.

Manage Institution
RiskExec has updated the User Defined Fields (UDF) page in Manage Institutions to allow a client to copy existing data fields from one module to another.
For example, if a user would like the HMDA UDF “Interest Rate” to be available in the Fair Lending module, they are now able to copy that UDF from a list of existing HMDA UDFs to be brought into the Fair Lending module.
Miscellaneous
In the “File History” tab within HMDA and CRA modules, users will now be able to view the history of which user and when the file has been geocoded or edit checks were run.
